August 7, 2011 Sunday Day 1 (since vacation) Weight 221.2
Ok, so vacation is over. Actually it’s been over. We have been home almost a week now.
I came home with a weight gain of 2 pounds in which I turned around and lost this past week. Honestly I was amazed I hadn’t gain more weight.
I think it helped that I walked and the trip to the zoo we walked A LOT!
I just had a hard time getting back on track once we got home. Having a week of not worrying about measuring, weighing, and writing down everything was wonderful. I know that if I want this weight off though I’m going to have to do these things.
I’m thinking of cancelling the Y membership and saving up for another treadmill (as mine is trashed from use and flood), elliptical, and a bike. I think we should turn one of the rooms in the basement into a workout room. Granted it will be close to what we pay at the Y per year. I think having it here leaves no room for us to say “I didn’t have time to get to the gym”.
I figure if we stick to the budget we can have all 3 bought by Christmas. I can work out by walking outside and doing other things at home. I have a ball and other things to get started with. I also have some of the Biggest Loser DVDs also.
I’m just so tired of being fat!
